Mercury Pookkal Tamil Movie Plot
Mercury Pookkal (transl. Mercury flowers) is based on the Tamil novel of Balakumaran. The movie tells the story of Karthik and Anbu Selvi, who are forced to marry each other by their respective families. Karthik is a brilliant student from a middle-class family who works part-time in a courier company. He dreams of a modern and classy girl as his life partner. Anbu Selvi is a lively and outgoing girl from a rural landlords family who studies commerce in Trichy. She loves to play pranks and have fun with her friends.
The two have nothing in common and agree to separate once they are financially independent. Anbu Selvi joins the same college as Karthik and tries to win his heart with her charm and sincerity.
